The album features songs inspired by the film by artists including Big Daddy Weave, Fransceca Battistelli, Everfound, Dara Maclean, Sidewalk Prophets, Blanca, Love & The Outcome, Jason Castro & more. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Captive is directed by Jerry Jameson and stars David Oyelowo, Kate Mara, Leonor Varela, Jessica Oyelowo, Mimi Rogers and Michael K. Williams. The movie tells the true story of Brian Nichols who broke out of a courthouse jail in 2005 and shot dead the judge assigned to his case as well as a court reporter, sheriff’s deputy and FBI officer. Decca Records to Release ‘Spectre’ Soundtrack

Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the 24th James Bond movie, Spectre. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Wall-E) who previously scored the last installment in the series, Skyfall. The soundtrack will be released physically on November 13, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to come out a week or two earlier. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s series The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by The Outfit, including the theme song. Also included are original tracks from the series by Jukebox the Ghost, JD McPherson, Wordsworth and Prince Paul and Ra Ra Riot. The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show features the voices of Chris Parnell and Max Charles as the title characters. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the sci-fi action adventure The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials directed by Wes Ball and starring Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Ki Hong Lee, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Patricia Clarkson, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Rosa Salazar, Aidan Gillen, Jacob Lofland, Barry Pepper and Lili Taylor. The film’s original music is composed by John Paesano (Daredevil, When the Game Stands Tall) who previously scored the first part in the series. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Also opening wide is the crime drama Black Mass directed by Scott Cooper and starring Johnny Depp, Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson, Jesse Plemons, Corey Stoll, Rory Cochrane, Sienna Miller and Adam Scott. John Debney to Score Mel Gibson’s ‘Hacksaw Ridge’

John Debney confirmed in a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter that he is set to reteam with Mel Gibson on the upcoming historical drama Hacksaw Ridge. The film starring Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey and Vince Vaughn is based on the life of Desmond T. Doss, a medic and the first conscientious objector who won the Congressional Medal of Honor after saving dozens of soldiers during the Battle of Okinawa.
