The details of the soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s animated feature Kung Fu Panda 3 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight). Pianist Lang Lang is featured on a number of tracks of the composer’s score. Also included is a cover version of Kung Fu Fighting by The Vamps, as well as a song by Patrick Brasca feat. Jay Chou. The soundtrack will be released on January 22, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Little Miss Sunshine, Moneyball, The Good Dinosaur). The soundtrack will be released on January 15, 2016 by Varese Sarabande and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Opening nationwide this weekend is the horror comedy Krampus written and directed by Michael Dougherty and starring Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Emjay Anthony, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Stefania Lavie Owen and Krista Stadler. The film’s original music is composed by Douglas Pipes (Monster House, Trick ‘r Treat). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music. Rob Simonsen to Score Zach Braff’s ‘Going in Style’

Rob Simonsen is reteaming with Zach Braff (Garden State, Scrubs) on the upcoming caper comedy Going in Style. The film is a remake of Martin Brest’s 1979 movie of the same title and stars Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Alan Arkin, Joey King, Matt Dillon and Ann-Margret. The movie marks Braff’s third feature directorial effort and follows three retired men who lose their pensions when the company they’ve worked for their entire lives is sold to a foreign corporation, which makes them set out to try to rob the very bank that’s withholding their money. ‘Rams’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the comedy drama Rams. The album features the film’s original music composed by Atli Orvarsson (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Vantage Point, Chicago Fire, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones). Also included are the songs featured in the movie by Haukur Morthens, Sigurður Skagfield and Stefán Íslandi. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 11, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out in early 2016. Rams is directed by Grímur Hákonarson and stars Sigurður Sigurjónsson and Theodór Júlíusson. The movie is Iceland’s candidate for the Best Foreign Film category at the next Academy Awards and follows two brothers who live on neighboring sheep farms but have not spoken to each other for 40 years and come together when authorities decree that all the sheep in the valley must be destroyed due to a virus.
