Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for the third part in the Divergent series, Allegiant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, Earth to Echo) who previously scored last year’s Insurgent. Also included is the original song Scars by Tove Lo. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Allegiant is directed by Robert Schwentke and stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Jeff Daniels, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort and Maggie Q. David Buckley to Score CBS’ ‘BrainDead’

The series follows a fresh-faced Hill staffer whose first job in D.C. leads her to discover two things: The government has stopped working, and alien spawn have come to Earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of congressmen and Hill staffers. Brian Reitzell is composing the music for the upcoming indie drama Kicks. The album features highlights from the career of the film’s subject Miles Davis, as well as new recordings overseen by Grammy Award-winning jazz/hip-hop artist Robert Glasper, including What’s Wrong with That?, a jam that closes the movie with guest performers Glasper, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Gary Clark, Jr. and Esperanza Spalding.
