Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the first soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Stranger Things. The label will release the soundtrack in two parts. Both albums feature the show’s original music composed by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of the Austin-based synth band S U R V I V E. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally on August 12, 2016 and physically on September 16. and Vol. 2 will be released digitally on August 19 and physically on September 23. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Anthropoid. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robin Foster (Metro Manila). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 12, 2016. Anthropoid is directed by Sean Ellis and stars Cillian Murphy, Jamie Dornan, Toby Jones, Charlotte Le Bon, Anna Geislerová, Harry Lloyd, Alena Mihulová, Marcin Dorociński, Bill Milner and Sam Keeley. The movie follows two soldiers from the Czech army-in-exile who are parachuted into their occupied homeland in December of 1941 and must find a way to assassinate SS General Reinhard Heydrich., with limited intelligence and little equipment in a city under lockdown. The movie follows a party girl who discovers a mysterious connection between herself and a giant monster wreaking havoc on the other side of the globe. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1985 action sequel Rambo: First Blood Part II directed by George P. Cosmatos and starring Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Charles Napier and Steven Berkoff. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Omen, Planet of the Apes, Patton, L.A. Confidential) who previously scored the first movie in the franchise. The 2-CD set features the complete score on the first disc, as well as the 35mm three-channel mixes and several extras on the second disc. Steven Price revealed in a recent interview with Collider that he has started work on Edgar Wright’s upcoming action crime comedy Baby Driver. No details about his exact involvement are known yet as the composer calls the project “not a traditionally scored film.” The movie written and directed by Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal, Sky Ferreira and Kevin Spacey. Live Nation Entertainment announced today the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience. The show’s composer Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Warcraft) will participate in the concert tour with a full orchestra and choir. The concert experience produced and promoted by Live Nation in partnership with HBO Global Licensing, will use innovative music tour production and video technology that will recreate the various realms found throughout Westeros and Essos as well as showcase footage from the show in addition to all new imagery created exclusively for the tour, which will kick off on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Kansas City, Mo. and visit 28 cities across North America with shows scheduled at such venues as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Forum in Los Angeles, as well as arenas in Montreal, Boston, Houston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Washington DC & more.
