Ryan Franks and Scott Nickoley have been hired to score the upcoming thriller Southern Fury. The film is directed by Steven C. Miller (Silent Night, Extraction, Marauders) and stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Adrian Grenier. The movie follows a Philadelphia businessman whose deadbeat brother is kidnapped for a large ransom – leading everyone to believe that the brother is involved in the kidnapping. Jason Mosberg has written the screenplay. Atlantic Records will release a second soundtrack album for Nate Parker’s drama The Birth of a Nation.
