twisterLa-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1996 hit disaster movie Twister directed by Jan De Bont and starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. The album features the expanded original score from the Amblin Entertainment production composed by Mark Mancina (SpeedTarzanMoana, Bad BoysBrother BearPlanesTraining Day), including previously unreleased music. desplatGuillermo del Toro revealed in a recent interview with Indiewire that Alexandre Desplat is set to compose the music for the director’s upcoming fantasy drama The Shape of Water. The film stars Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer. The movie is described as an other-worldly story, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963.
