Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi adventure Rogue One: A Star Wars Story directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Up, Inside Out, Jurassic World, Doctor Strange). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, which also features themes by John Williams. Also opening wide is the drama Collateral Beauty directed by David Frankel and stars Will Smith, Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren, Michael Peña and Naomie Harris. Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, Marley & Me, St. Vincent) has composed the film’s original score. WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a new mix of the One Direction song Let’s Hurt Tonight.
