He returns for his fourth Oscar telecast, his second as music director following last year’s ceremony. Wheeler is best known as an orchestrator, composer, conductor, arranger and record producer and has received numerous Emmy and Tony Award nominations. Soundtrack Details for FX’s ‘Legion’

legion-fxLakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the FX original series Legion. The album features the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night OfPower). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 24 and physically on March 24. A vinyl release is also in the works. Legion is created by Noah Hawley (Fargo) based on the Marvel Comics and stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Aubrey Plaza, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Katie Aselton and Bill Irwin. The series centers on a troubled young man struggling with mental illness who encounters a fellow patient, when he is confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real. robRob (aka Robin Coudert) is set to compose the music for the upcoming thriller Revenge. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Coralie Fargeat and stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe and Guillaume Bouchède. The movie revolves around a woman seeking revenge after being abused by three men and left for dead in the desert. Marc-Etienne Schwartz is producing the project, which is being filmed in English and French, for M.E.S. Prods., alongside Marc Stanimirovic (Kaamelott) for Monkey Pack Films. doubtSean Callery is scoring the new CBS drama Doubt. The show is created by Tony Phelan & Joan Rater (Grey’s Anatomy) and stars Katherine Heigl, Steven Pasquale, Elliott Gould, Dulé Hill, Laverne Cox, Dreama Walker and Kobi Libii. The series follows a successful defense lawyer at a boutique firm who becomes romantically involved with a client who may or may not be guilty of a brutal crime. adam-resurrectedCaldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2008 drama Adam Resurrected. The album features the film’s original music composed and orchestrated by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English PatientThe Talented Mr. RipleyCity of AngelsThe Lives of Others) who recorded his score at Abbey Road Studios in London. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Charlie Bean (Tron: Uprising) and features the voices of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña, Zach Woods and Jackie Chan. Hilary Winston & Bob Logan & Paul Fisher wrote the screenplay based on a story by themselves and Kevin Hageman & Dan Hageman. Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes, Gangster Squad), Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21/22 Jump Street), Roy Lee (The Strangers, The Exorcist) and Maryann Garger (Astro Boy) are producing the project. The film’s original music is composed by Bobby Tahouri (Husk, Across the HallRise of the Tomb Raider video game). Girlfriend’s Day follows an unemployed greeting card writer must who gets caught up in a conspiracy and must create the perfect card for a new holiday to save his skin. The comedy will be available to stream on Netflix on Tuesday.
