Evgueni and Sacha Galperine have composed the music for the drama Loveless (Nelyubov). The film is directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev (Leviathan, The Return) and stars Maryana Spivak, Alexey Rozin, Matvey Nokikov, Marina Vasilyeva, Andris Keishs and Alexey Fateev. The movie tells the story of a couple locked in a bitter divorce battle forced to cooperate when its young son goes missing after witnessing one of his parents’ violent arguments. The Orchard will release a soundtrack album for the thriller The Dinner. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Serge Gainsbourg, Nico, The Shoe, Locust Honey & more, as well as an original track by Eli Brueggeman. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 19, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Dinner is written and directed by Oren Moverman and stars Richard Gere, Laura Linney, Steve Coogan, Rebecca Hall and Chloë Sevigny. Two movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action adventure King Arthur: Legend of the Sword directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Counselor, Gold). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the action comedy Snatched directed by Jonathan Levine, produced by Paul Feig and starring Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Joan Cusack, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes and Christopher Meloni. Theodore Shapiro (Ghostbusters, Spy, The Devil Wears Prada) and Chris Bacon (Bates Motel, Source Code) have composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will compose several new songs for Fox’s television adaptation of the 1983 classic feature and the Broadway musical A Christmas Story. The 3-hour television event based on the movie and stage musical follows a Midwestern boy named Ralphie who attempts to convince his parents, his teacher, and Santa that a Red Ryder B.B. gun really is the perfect Christmas gift. Jonathan Tolins and Robert Cary (Grease: LIVE) are writing the script. ‘Master of None’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released

Lakeshore Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Master of None. The album features the songs from the show’s second season by artists including Mina, Ryan Paris, Bobby Charles, Sylvester, Pino D’Angiò, Will Powers, Soft Cell, Bobby Charles & more. The soundtrack is now available to download here. A CD version is set to come out next month and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. Master of None is created by Aziz Anzari & Alan Yang and stars Anzari himself, alongside H. Jon Benjamin, Eric Wareheim, Lena Waithe, Noel Wells and Kelvin Yu. Siddhartha Khosla has been hired to score the upcoming Hulu original series Runaways. The show is created by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Chuck) & Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, The Carrie Diaries) and stars Gregg Sulkin, Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer and Allegra Acosta. The drama is based on the Marvel Comics property created by Brian K. Vaughan & Adrian Alphona and revolves around a group of teenagers who discover that their parents are in an evil crime organization and team up to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Mandy Hoffman (Terri, The Lovers). Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the ABC musical comedy Galavant. The album features previously unreleased songs from the show composed by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Glenn Slater (Tangled, Home on the Range). Galavant: The Unreleased Collection will be released digitally tomorrow, May 12 and will be available to download on Amazon.
