Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Smile, Utopia, Babygirl, The Girl with All the Gifts, National Treasure, The Third Day) has confirmed that there will be no soundtrack release for third season of the HBO original series The White Lotus following his departure from the show due to creative differences with creator Mike White. WaterTower Music has released the composer’s main title theme from Season 3 this past February and two full soundtrack albums for his Emmy Award-winning scores from Season 1 and Season 2. Instead of a new soundtrack release, the label has published two four-hour soundscapes (Ocean Ambience – 4 Hours of Gentle Waves for Deep Relaxation & Evening Ambience – 4 Hours by the Fire Pit for Calm and Contemplation) following the debut on the season finale this past Sunday. Notefornote Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for the documentary October 8. The album features the film’s original score composed by Sharon Farber (When Nietzsche Wept, Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, They Call Me Sirr). Also included is the song Have You Seen My Light by Autumn Rowe & Kizzo. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
