Ed Banger Records has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy The Piano Accident (L’accident de piano). The album features the film’s original music composed by writer/director Quentin Dupieux as Mr Oizo, as well as a track ( Magalie Postlude) by Dupieux and Chilly Gonzales. The Piano Accident is written and directed by Quentin Dupieux and stars Adèle Exarchopoulos, Jérôme Commandeur, Sandrine Kiberlain and Karim Leklou. The movie follows revolves around an internet star, famous for posting shocking content on social networks, who decides to take a break after a mysterious piano incident while filming one of her videos, when her chalet mountain retreat is interrupted by a journalist who begins to blackmail her.

Thomas Bangalter’s ‘Daaaaaalí!’ Score Released
Ed Banger Records has released a soundtrack for the French comedy Daaaaaalí!. The 2-track single features the film’s original score composed and performed by Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to both tracks after the jump. A limited edition vinyl will be coming out later this month and available for pre-order here. Daaaaaalí! is written and directed by Quentin Dupieux and stars Anaïs Demoustier, Gilles Lellouche, Jonathan Cohen, Édouard Baer, Pio Marmaï, Didier Flamand and Romain Duris. The movie follows a French journalist as he meets surrealist artist Salvador Dali for a documentary project which never gets off the ground.
‘Wrong Cops’ Soundtrack Announced
Ed Banger Records will release a soundtrack album for Quentin Dupieux’s comedy Wrong Cops. The album features the film’s music by the director under his pseudo Mr Oizo, including the track Solid, on which he collaborated with Marilyn Manson who also appears in the movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 20, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. A CD and Vinyl pack version is set to be released on February 10, 2014. Wrong Cops starring Mark Burnham, Eric Judor, Steve Little, Eric Wareheim and Arden Myrin chronicles the life of cops behaving badly in a future where crime has all been eradicated. The movie premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by IFC Midnight for a theatrical and VOD release on December 20.

Ed Banger Records will be releasing a soundtrack album for the indie comedy Wrong. The album features the film’s original music by Tahiti Boy & Mr. Oizo. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 27, 2012 and will be available to download on Amazon. Audio clips from all 13 tracks on the album can be checked out after the jump. Wrong is written and directed by Quentin Dupieux (Rubber) and stars Jack Plotnick as man who wakes up one morning to find that his beloved dog Paul has vanished and embarks on a spiritual journey guided by a guru to metaphysically reconnect with his pet. William Fichtner, Steve Little, Eric Judor and Alexis Dziena are co-starring in the film.
