BMG Soundstage has released a soundtrack album for the Syfy original movie Sharknado 5. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Cano & Chris Ridenhour who previously scored the last three installments in the Sharknado series. Also included are songs by Quint, New Day Dawn and Geno Lenardo & Ryan T Hope. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Sharknado 5: Global Swarming is directed by Anthony C. Soundtrack to Be Released for Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’

Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Defenders. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Paesano (The Maze Runner, Pacific Rim Uprising) who previously scored both seasons of Marvel’s Daredevil. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 18 and will be available download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The Defenders is developed by Douglas Petrie & Marco Ramirez and stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, all of which are reprising their roles from their own shows, as well as Élodie Yung. ‘Let Me Go’ Soundtrack Announced

Bella Union will release a soundtrack album for the British drama Let Me Go. The album features the film’s original music composed by Radiohead drummer Philip Selway who is making his film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to come out on October 27. The film is directed by Lynn Shelton (Your Sister’s Sister, Laggies) and stars Jay Duplass, Edie Falco, Kaitlyn Dever and Ben Schwartz. The movie follows an ex-con who is struggling to readjust to life in his small town and forms an intense bond with his former high-school teacher. Shelton also co-wrote the screenplay with Duplass.
