The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Taran Mitchell (The Resurrection of Charles Manson) and produced by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning & Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Black Adam). Chris Benstead is making his television scoring debut on the upcoming British Netflix original series The Gentlemen. The show is created by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, Aladdin) based on his 2019 feature of the same title (scored by Benstead) and stars Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Joely Richardson, Daniel Ings, Giancarlo Esposito, Vinnie Jones, Chanel Cresswell, Max Beesley, Michael Vu, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins and Peter Serafinowicz. The comedy drama follows a young man who unexpectedly inherits his father’s sizeable country estate, only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire and host of characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Valdés Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French adventure drama Kina & Yuk (Kina & Yuk, renards de la banquise). The album features the film’s original music composed by Julien Jaouen (Ailo’s Journey, A Cat’s Life, Playground, Bis). Ludwig Göransson was honored with his first Critics Choice Award in the Best Score category for his music for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer at tonight’s 29th Critics Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the animated movie Craig Before the Creek. The album features the film’s original score and songs composed by Jeff Rosenstock (Craig of the Creek). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 15 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Craig Before the Creek is directed by Craig of the Creek creators Ben Levin & Matt Burnett and features the voices of Philip Solomon, Noël Wells, Vico Ortiz, H Michael Croner, Byron Marc Newsome, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Phil LaMarr and Lucia Cunningham. The Cartoon Network Studios production tells the origin story of Craig as he sets off on a journey into the Creek to find a lost treasure – while being pursued by a band of pirates who want to destroy the Creek itself. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the musical comedy Mean Girls directed by Samantha Jayne & Arturo Perez Jr. and starring Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho, Reneé Rapp, Avantika, Jaquel Spivey, Jenna Fischer, Bebe Wood. Christopher Briney, Busy Philipps, Tim Meadows and Tina Fey. The film’s original score is composed by Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Baby Mama, Girls5eva). Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie written by Richmond & Nell Benjamin today. Also opening wide is the biblical comedy drama The Book of Clarence directed by Jeymes Samuel (The Harder They Fall) and starring LaKeith Stanfield, Anna Diop, Omar Sy, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, RJ Cyler, Teyana Taylor, James McAvoy, Alfre Woodard, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Benedict Cumberbatch.
