Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for Dreamworks Animation’s holiday special Home For the Holidays. The album features the songs from the special performed by the project’s voice cast, including Kelly Clarkson, Ben Schwartz, Rachel Crow, Mark Whitten, Ana Ortiz, Ron Funches & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The full details of the soundtrack album for the action adventure Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier Civil WarBig Hero 6Kong: Skull IslandWreck-It-RalphX-Men: First Class). The soundtrack will be released physically on December 22, 2017 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The digital version is set to come out on December 15 and will be available to download hereJumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is directed by Jake Kasdan and stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas and Bobby Cannavale. The movie revolves around four high school kids who are transported into an adventure video game and must survive from its challenges.

Max Richter is currently recording his score for the upcoming drama White Boy Rick. The film is directed by Yann Demange (’71) and stars Matthew McConaughey, Richie Merritt, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rory Cochrane, Brian Tyree Henry, Bruce Dern, R.J. Cyler, Kyanna Simone Simpson and Bel Powley. The movie is set in 1980s Detroit at the height of the crack epidemic and tells the true story of Ricky Wershe who became an undercover informant at the age of 14 before becoming a major dealer – until he was arrested at age 17. Logan & Noah Miller (Sweetwater) wrote the screenplay with revisions by Andy Weiss (Middle Men), Scott Silver (The Fighter, 8 Mile) and Steve Kloves (Harry Potter series, The Amazing Spider-Man). Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the action comedy Killing Gunther. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dino Meneghin (Teen Wolf, Eye Candy). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 1 and will be available to download on Amazon. Killing Gunther is written and directed by Taran Killam and stars himself, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bobby Moynihan, Cobie Smulders, Paul Brittain, Hannah Simone, Alison Tolman and Ryan Gaul. Jean-Paul Wall is scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Spinning Man. The film is directed by Simon Kaijser (Stockholm East) and stars Guy Pearce, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, Clark Gregg, Alexandra Shipp, Odeya Rush and Jamie Kennedy. The movie follows a charming professor who appears to be living an idyllic life until a young woman goes missing and he struggles to come up with an alibi to clear his name. Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Crown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge) who received an Emmy Award nomination earlier this year for his work on the drama and Lorne Balfe (The Lego Batman Movie, Terminator Genisys, Genius, Home). On Tuesday, December 5, Mac Quayle will be performing his score from the USA hit drama Mr. Robot in concert. M@cQuayle_TheMus1c0fMrRob0t.mp3 will take place at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. The composer who is currently scoring the final episodes of the series’ third season received his first Emmy Award for his music for the show’s first season last year. Premiering on Wednesday, November 29, is the Amazon original series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle. The show’s original music is composed by Sam Phillips who has previously scored Sherman-Palladino’s Gilmore Girls and Bunheads, as well as Eric Gorfain. Nonesuch Records will release the official soundtrack album for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonny Greenwood who recorded his score with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next month. The CD version is set to come out on January 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and the vinyl version is available to order here.
