Discovery Channel will release a soundtrack album for the critically acclaimed series Manhunt: Unabomber. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Gregory Tripi (Dark Places, Rememory). Also included is the main titles theme written by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl) & Nick Chuba. Brian Tyler is reteaming with director Stephanie Soechtig on the upcoming documentary The Devil We Know. The movie centers on one of the biggest environmental scandals of our time, as a group of citizens in West Virginia take on a powerful corporation after they discover it has knowingly been dumping a toxic chemical – now found in the blood of 99.7% of Americans – into the local drinking water supply. Soechtig (Fed Up) is also producing the project with Kristin Lazure, Joshua Kunau and Carly Palmour. Tyler has previously collaborated with filmmaker on the 2016 documentary Under the Gun. ABKCO Records has announced a soundtrack album for the indie comedy Mr. Roosevelt. The album features the film’s original music score by Guster lead singer Ryan Miller (Safety Not Guaranteed, The Kings of Summer, In a World…), as well as tracks by Fruit Bats, Jimmy Radcliffe, Heartless Bastards, Lotus and others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 8, 2017 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Mr. Roosevelt is written and directed by Noël Wells who also stars in the movie alongside Nick Thune, Britt Lower, Daniella Pineda, Andre Hyland, Doug Benson, Armen Weitzman and Sergio Cilli. The movie revolves around a struggling comedian who returns to her college town of Austin, Texas and must come to terms with her past while staying with her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. The film is directed by Don Argott (Last Days Here, The Art of the Steal) and follows Imagine Dragons’ Mormon frontman Dan Reynolds as he is taking on a new mission to explore how the church treats its LGBTQ members with the rising suicide rate amongst teens in the state of Utah.
