Columbia Records will release a soundtrack single for the family comedy Peter Rabbit. The release features the original song I Promise You written by Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig & director Will Gluck, produced by Greg Kurstin and performed by James Corden (voice of the title character), as well as a score suite by the film’s composer Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Money Monster, Free Birds, DuckTales). The soundtrack will be released as a digital single tomorrow, February 9 and will be available to download on Amazon. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi action adventure Pacific Rim Uprising. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman Movie, Genius, Home, 12 Strong, Terminator Genisys, The Crown). The soundtrack is currently set to be released physically on April 6, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to come out next month. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, Star Trek: Discovery, Counterpart), including the composer’s main titles theme. The soundtrack, which features 18 essential Elvis Presley hits, including rare alternative versions of songs, will be released on April 6, 2018 and is now available for pre-order here (digital version) and here (vinyl version). Screen Daily is reporting that Faithless member Sister Bliss is in talks to score the upcoming comedy How to Sell a War. The film marks the narrative feature directorial debut of author and documentary filmmaker Rudolph Herzog (son of Werner Herzog) and is set to star Katherine Parkinson and Lily Newmark. The movie follows a PR consultant, and her naive new intern, working for a global charity concert, trying to keep the event on track despite interference from a Russian warmonger.
