Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Battlestar Galactica, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Happy Death Day, Colossal) is the composer of the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Foundation. The show is developed by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Blade) based on the novels by Isaac Asimov and stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch. The sci-fi drama chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire.

Pinar Toprak to Score Syfy’s ‘Krypton’
Pinar Toprak is composing the music for the upcoming Syfy original series Krypton. The show is developed by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Da Vinci’s Demons) & Cameron Welsh and stars Cameron Cuffe, Georgina Campbell, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Aaron Pierre, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Blake Ritson, Ian McElhinney and Shaun Sipos. The show based the DC characters centers on Seg-El, the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, as a young man who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson.
Bear McCreary Scoring ‘The Forest’
Bear McCreary has composed the music for the upcoming supernatural thriller The Forest. The film is directed by Jason Zada and stars Natalie Dormer, Taylor Kinney, Eoin Macken and Yukiyoshi Ozawa. The movie is set in the legendary Aokigahara Forest at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan and tells the story of a young American woman who goes in search of her twin sister who has mysteriously disappeared. Sarah Cornwell and Nick Antosca have written the screenplay based on a story by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Man of Steel, Blade). Goyer is also producing the project through his Phantom Four production company, alongside Lava Bear Films.
Bear McCreary to Score ‘Da Vinci’s Demons’
Less than a day following the announcement of Bear McCreary‘s involvement in the sci-fi thriller The Europa Report. Starz Entertainment and BBC Worldwide Productions have revealed today that the composer has also signed on score the upcoming historical fantasy series Da Vinci’s Demons. The show is created by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) who also directed the first two episodes and stars Tom Riley, Laura Haddock, Lucrezia Donati, Elliot Cowan, Lorenzo Medici and Lara Pulver. The eight-part series follows the untold story of the world’s greatest genius, Leonardo da Vinci, during his turbulent youth in Renaissance Florence. Goyer is producing the project with Julie Gardner (Dr. Who, Torchwood) and BBC Worldwide Productions’ Head Jane Tranter (Rome).
