Toby Chu has recently scored Pixar Animation Studios’ upcoming short Bao. The film is directed by Domee Shi and follows an empty-nesting Chinese mom who gets another chance at motherhood when one of her dumplings springs to life and must come to terms with the bittersweet revelation that nothing stays cute and small forever. Pathé and Calamity Films announced today that Matt Dunkley will serve as the musical director on the upcoming biographical drama Judy. The film is directed by Rupert Goold (True Story) and stars Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland, alongside Jessie Buckley, Finn Wittrock and Sir Michael Gambon. The movie follows the legendary performer as she arrives in London in the winter of 1968 to perform a series of sold-out concerts. Tom Edge (The Crown, Lovesick) has written the screenplay.
