Mateo Messina has signed to score the upcoming NBC comedy I Feel Bad. The show is created by Aseem Batra (Marlon, Scrubs) and stars Sarayu Blue, Paul Adelstein, Zach Cherry, James Buckley, Aisling Bea and Johnny Pemberton. The series is inspired by Orli Auslander’s book I Feel Bad: All Day. Every Day. About Everything and shows one woman’s unfiltered take on the side effects of trying to have it all. Batra is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Amy Poehler (Difficult People, Broad City), Dave Becky (Master of None, Insecure), Josh Maurer (Howards End) and Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song, One for the Money) who also directed the pilot episode. TLM Music will release a soundtrack album for the new live-action movie adaptation of The Little Mermaid. The album features the the film’s original score composed and conducted by Jeremy Rubolino (Walt Before Mickey), as well the songs When This Story Ends performed by lead actress Poppy Drayton and This Heart of Mine performed by Sophia Pizzulo.
