Three new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi action adventure Alita: Battle Angel directed by Robert Rodriguez, produced by James Cameron and starring Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein and Jackie Earle Haley. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (click here for the full album details). Also available now is the original end credits track Swan Song performed by Dua Lipa (click here for more information).
Also opening wide is the slasher sequel Happy Death Day 2U directed by Christopher Landon and starring Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Phi Vu, Suraj Sharma and Ruby Modine. Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Outlander) has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
