Amazon Studios has released the opening title sequence of the new Amazon original series Good Omens. The show’s composer David Arnold (Independence Day, Casino Royale, Stargate, Tomorrow Never Dies, Sherlock) has written the theme accompanying the sequence, which can be checked out in full after the jump. Good Omens is based on the best-selling novel by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman and stars Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Nick Offerman, Adria Arjona, Nina Sosanya, Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Ned Dennehy, Mireille Enos and Benedict Cumberbatch. The series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth. The 6-part drama will premiere on May 31, 2019 exclusively on Amazon Prime.

    Listening to the closing piece of Shostacovich Jazz suite #2 I find it difficult to differentiate the two, apart from a few bars.
