The film is directed by David Yarovesky (The Hive) and stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner. Mark Gunn & Brian Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) wrote the screenplay. Premiering tonight in the U.S. is the British mini-series Mrs. Wilson developed by Anna Symon, directed by Richard Laxton and starring Ruth Wilson, Iain Glenn, Keely Hawes, Anupam Kher and Fiona Shaw. The show’s original music is composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Calibre, This Beautiful Fantastic, The Imposter). Brian McOmber (It Comes at Night, Krisha) and Jordan Dykstra have composed the music for the upcoming indie comedy drama Blow the Man Down. The film is written and directed by Danielle Krudy & Bridget Savage Cole and stars Morgan Saylor, Sophie Lowe, Margo Martindale, June Squibb, Annette O’Toole and Marceline Hugot. The movie follows two sisters grieving for the loss of their mother who suddenly find they have a crime to cover up, leading them deep into the underbelly of their salty Maine fishing village. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo directed by Tim Burton and starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Alan Arkin, Finley Hobbins, Nico Parker, Roshan Seth, Deobia Oparei, Joseph Gatt and Sharon Rooney. The film’s original music is composed by Danny Elfman (BatmanAlice in WonderlandSpider-ManThe Nightmare Before Christmas). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two covers of the song Baby Mine, including an end credits version by Arcade Fire. Fox Music will release a score album for the faith-based drama Breakthrough. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, Ray Donovan, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Affair). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the AMC original series Halt and Catch Fire. The album features more music written for the show by composer Paul Haslinger (UnderworldFear the Walking Dead, CrankThe Three MusketeersDeath Race) who scored all four seasons of the drama. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically next Friday, April 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Perseverance Records has announced the first official soundtrack CD release for the 1980 cult classic Prom Night directed by Paul Lynch and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Leslie Nielsen, Casey Stevens, Eddie Benton, Michael Tough, Robert A. Silverman and Pita Oliver. The album features the film’s complete original score composed by Carl Zittrer & Paul Zaza (Porky’s, My Bloody Valentine, A Christmas StoryMurder by Decree), as well as the original disco songs from the film. Also included are six unreleased disco songs and score not used in the final production. The soundtrack will be released on May 10 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Benjamin Wallfisch (Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation) is reteaming with director Andy Muschietti on the upcoming horror thriller It: Chapter Two. The film stars James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, as well as Andy Bean as Stanely Uris, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. The movie follows the Losers’ Club as they must return to Derry, Maine, 27 years after the events from the previous movie to fight evil forces the circus unleashes on the town. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Wind. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Lovett (The Signal, The Ritual, Black Rock, Synchronicity). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Wind is directed by Emma Tammi and stars Caitlin Gerard, Julie Goldani Telles, Ashley Zuckerman, Miles Anderson and Dylan McTee. The movie written by Teresa Sutherland follows a woman who moves to the American frontier to settle it with her husband, when an evil presence soon makes itself known and infects her with paranoia. A soundtrack album has been released for the drama The Burial of Kojo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Blitz the Ambassador (aka Samuel “Blitz” Bazawule) who also directed the movie. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl edition is also in the works. The Burial of Kojo is written and directed by Bazawule and chronicles the tale of two brothers through a gifted girl who travels beautiful lands that exist between life and death.
