Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for the live-action/animated feature Playmobil: The Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie). Also included are original songs performed by Meghan Trainor and Adam Lambert, among others. The soundtrack will be released on August 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Playmobil: The Movie is directed by Lino DiSalvo and also stars Anya- Taylor Joy, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Bateman, Kenan Thompson and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie based on the PLAYMOBIL role-play toys and follows a teen girl who must go on a quest of a lifetime to bring home her younger brother when he unexpectedly disappears into the magical, animated universe of PLAYMOBIL. We Are Tessellate will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi horror drama Starfish. The album features the film’s original music composed by A.T. White who also directed the movie, as well as a new track by his band Ghostlight. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Tuesday, July 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Starfish is written and directed by White and stars Virginia Gardner, Christina Masterson, Eric Beecroft and Natalie Mitchell. The movie follows a woman who struggles with the death of her best friend, while trying to assemble a series of clues left on mixtapes in order to stop a monstrous end to the world as we know it. Alan Silvestri has signed on to score the upcoming fantasy adventure The Witches. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock, Jahzir Kadeem Bruno and Codie-Lei Eastick. The movie is based on Roald Dahl classic book and tells the story of a young orphaned boy who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandmain the rural Alabama town of Demopolis, where they come across some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches.
