Danny Elfman has revealed in a recent interview with JOE.ie that he is currently scoring the upcoming thriller The Woman in the Window. The film is directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Darkest Hour, Hanna) and stars Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore, Wyatt Russell, Anthony Mackie and Brian Tyree Henry. The movie is based on A.J. Finn’s bestseller of the same name and centers on an agoraphobic child psychologist who witnesses a crime while spying on her neighbors, leaving her to determine whether to alert the police. RCA Records will release a soundtrack EP for Blue Sky Studios’ animated feature Spies in Disguise. The 6-track EP features the songs from the movie, including the two original songs submitted for Academy Awards consideration, Freak of Nature written by Mark Ronson, Tommy Brenneck, Ilsey Juber & Alana Chenevert and performed by Ronson & Dodgr, as well as Then There Were Two performed by Ronson & Anderson .Paak who also co-wrote the track with Brenneck.
