The Null Corporation has released the second soundtrack album for the HBO original series Watchmen. The album features more music from the show composed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social NetworkGone GirlThe Girl with the Dragon TattooWavesPatriots Day). The Volume 2 soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music and a vinyl edition will be available to order here. The Volume 1 album was released last month and a third soundtrack release will be coming out in December. RAY-ON has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian drama Antigone. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jad Orphée Chami & Jean Massicotte. Antigone is written and directed by Sophie Deraspe and stars Nahéma Ricci, Rawad El-Zein, Hakim Brahimi, Rachida Oussaada and Nour Belkhiria. Michael White (Hevn) has written the original score for the first season of the show created by William Laurin & Glenn Davis based on the comics by Jonathan Maberry & Alan Robinson and starring Ian Somerhalder, Adrian Holmes, Jacky Lai, Peter Outerbridge, Kyle Harrison Breitkopf and Kimberly-Sue Murray. The sci-fi horror drama revolves around a fast-spreading disease that turns victims into blood-sucking fiends pits two best friends against each other in a fight for humanity’s future. Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for Terrence Malick’s drama A Hidden Life. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, The Sixth Sense, Signs, King Kong, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Maleficent). Also included are classical pieces by Handel, Dvorak and Gorecki as featured in the movie. The soundtrack is expected to be released on December 6 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The film is written and directed by Jacob Chase (The Four-Faced Liar) and stars Gillian Jacobs, Azhy Robertson and John Gallagher Jr..
