Quartet Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1969 caper comedy The Italian Job directed by Peter Collinson, produced by Michael Deeley and starring Michael Caine and Noël Coward. The album features the expanded original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Quincy Jones (The Color Purple, The Getaway, Mackenna’s Gold), including the opening credits track On Days Like These sung by Matt Monro and Getta Bloomin’ Move On performed by Self Preservation Society. The album features a selection of songs from the show by artists such as Lee Brice, Wynonna, Filmore, Ruthie Collins, Love and Theft, Mallary Hope & others. Walt Disney Records has released the fifth soundtrack album for the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. The album features the original music from Chapter 5 of the show written by Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Goransson (Black Panther, Creed, Venom, Community, Fruitvale Station). Composer Ben Lovett (Synchronicity, The Wind, Black Rock, Don Peyote) is reuniting with director David Bruckner on the upcoming horror thriller The Night House. The film starring Rebecca Hall, Sarah Goldberg, Stacy Martin, Evan Jonigkeit and Vondie Curtis-Hall. The movie revolves around a widow who begins to uncover her recently deceased husband’s disturbing secrets. Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski (Super Dark Times) wrote the screenplay.
