La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1966 spy thriller Torn Curtain directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Paul Newman, Julie Andrews, Lila Kedrova, Hansjörg Felmy, Tamara Toumanova, Wolfgang Kieling and Ludwig Donath. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by John Addison (A Bridge Too Far, Sleuth, Tom Sawyer, The Seven-Per-Cent Solution), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included is the unused score recording by Bernard Herrmann (Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Citizen Kane, Taxi Driver, Marnie). Hollywood Records has released the cover version of the Bee Gees’ Islands in the Stream from last week’s episode (There Goes the Groom) of the ABC drama 9-1-1. The track (originally written by Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb) produced by Nick Marzock and performed by Jennifer Love Hewitt (who stars in the show as Maddie Buckley) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. ‘Archer’ Seasons 7-9 Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Hollywood Records has released a digital version of the first score album for the FX original animated series Archer. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s seventh, eighth and ninth seasons composed and performed by J.G. Thirlwell (The Venture Bros). Also included is Scott Sims’ Archer Main Theme (listen to the track below). The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (The Spanish Princess, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Bay, The Halcyon, Anne, The Long Call, Home Fires).
