Expanded and Remastered ‘Torn Curtain’ Soundtrack Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1966 spy thriller Torn Curtain directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Paul Newman, Julie Andrews, Lila Kedrova, Hansjörg Felmy, Tamara Toumanova, Wolfgang Kieling and Ludwig Donath. The album, which is being released as part of the Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the expanded and remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by John Addison (A Bridge Too Far, Sleuth, Tom Sawyer, The Seven-Per-Cent Solution), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included is the unused score recording by Bernard Herrmann (Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Citizen Kane, Taxi Driver, Marnie).
