Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, The Addams Family, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Boondock Saints) & John Fee (Bad Country, Living on One Dollar) have composed the original score for DreamWorks Animation’s new Netflix series Wizards: Tales of Arcadia. The show is the third installment in Guillermo del Toro’s Tales of Arcadia saga and features the voices of Emile Hirsch, Lexi Medrano, Steven Yeun, Charlie Saxton, Lena Headey, David Bradley, Clancy Brown, Fred Tatasciore, Diego Luna, Mark Hamill, and Kelsey Grammer who are reprising their roles from the previous installments. They are joined by new cast members Alfred Molina, Stephanie Beatriz, James Faulkner and John Rhys Davies. The series follows Merlin’s apprentice as he joins Arcadia’s heroes on a time-bending adventure in Camelot, where conflict is brewing between the human, troll and magical worlds. A soundtrack album has been released for the British documentary Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexander Parsons. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Rockfield: The Studio on the Farm is directed by Hannah Berryman and centers on Rockfield, the independent residential studio in the Welsh countryside and home to everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to Robert Plant, Queen to The Stone Roses, Bowie and Iggy Pop to Oasis. The movie features interviews with some of the legendary musicians that have spent time at Rockfield over the years, including Osbourne,  Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Liam Gallagher and ex-Oasis bandmate Bonehead, Simple Minds & others. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated SeriesField of Lost ShoesHangmanDoom: Annihilation) has been hired to score the upcoming sci-fi sequel Occupation: Rainfall. The film is written and directed by Luke Sparke (Red Billabong) who previously helmed 2018’s original Occupation movie and stars Temuera Morrison, Dan Ewing, Ken Jeong, Daniel Gillies, Aaron Jeffery, Zac Garred, Izzy Stephens, Trystan Go, Lawrence Makoare, Vince Colosimo and Tamala Shelton. Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Mary Magdalene) won her first BAFTA TV Craft Award today for her music for the HBO/Sky limited series Chernobyl written and executive produced by Craig Mazin, directed by Johan Renck and starring Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård and Emily Watson.
