H. Scott Salinas (A Private WarCartel LandThe Ballad of Lefty Brown, Warrior) has composed the original score for the new FX docu-series The Most Dangerous Animal of All. The show is based on The New York Times best-selling book of the same name and explores one man’s search for the father who abandoned him, only to uncover the worst: he believes his father is the Zodiac killer, one of the most infamous serial killers in American history. The 4-parter is directed by Kief Davidson (A Lego Brickumentary) who is also executive producing the project with Ross M. Dinerstein (The Innocent Man, 6 Balloons, 1922). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for Pixar SparkShorts’ Loop. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Orton (NebraskaThe Good GirlMy Old Lady) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Loop is written and directed by Erica Milsom and features the voices of Madison Bandy, Christiano ‘Chachi’ Delgado and Louis Gonzales. The Pixar Animation Studios production follows a non-verbal, autistic girl and a chatty boy who are partnered on a canoeing trip and must both learn how the other experiences the world. Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. Among the series’ voice cast are Jake Foushee (as Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (as Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (as Elita-1), Joe Zieja (as Bumblebee), Frank Todaro, Rafael Goldstein, Keith Silverstein, Todd Haberkorn, Edward Bosco, Bill Rogers, Sophia Isabella, Brook Chalmers, Shawn Hawkins, Kaiser Johnson, Miles Luna and Mark Whitten. The full composer line-up of the first episodes of Apple TV+’s reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories has been revealed. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, Captain Ron) has scored the first episode, The Cellar (premiering on March 6), directed by Chris Long (The Americans) and starring Victoria Pedretti and Dylan O’Brien. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man) & Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning) have co-scored the second episode, The Heat (premiering on March 13), directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, The Losers) and starring E’myri Crutchfield, Hailey Kilgore and Shane Paul McGhie. Episode 3, entitled Dynoman and the Volt (premiering on March 20), directed by Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) and starring Robert Forster & Tyler Crumley  is scored by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn). The 4-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Jake Monaco (Let’s Be CopsDumplin’Forky Asks a Question, Like a Boss, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Keeping Up with the Joneses). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Lamp Life is directed by Valerie LaPointe and features the voice talent  of Christina Hendricks, Annie Potts and Jim Hanks. The short, which explores what exactly happened to Bo Peep between her separation from Woody to the events in Toy Story 4, premiered last month and is now available to stream exclusively on Disney+. ‘Onward’ Soundtrack Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for Pixar’s animated feature Onward have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) and Jeff Danna (The Addams Family, Storks, The Boondock Saints) who have previously scored the studios’ The Good Dinosaur. Also included is the original end credits song Carried Me With You performed by Brandi Carlile who also co-wrote the track with Phil Hanseroth and Tim Hanseroth.
