Singer/songwriters Marlon Williams & Mark Perkins (aka Merk) are co-scoring the upcoming New Zealand comedy Juniper. The film is written and directed by Matthew J. Saville and stars Charlotte Rampling, Marton Csokas and George Ferrier. The movie revolves around a self-destructive teenager who gets suspended from school and whose life turns around when he is asked to look after his feisty alcoholic grandmother as a punishment. Desray Armstrong (Stray, Coming Home in the Dark) and Angela Littlejohn are producing the film, which marks both composers’ first feature film scoring assignment.
