The film is directed by Lee Daniels (Precious, The Butler, Shadowboxer) and stars Andra Day, Trevante Rhodes, Garrett Hedlund, Natasha Lyonne, Evan Ross, Dana Gourrier, Erik LaRay Harvey and Melvin Gregg. The movie is inspired by by Johann Hari’s 2015 New York Time bestseller Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs and centers on jazz singer Billie Holiday during her career as she is targeted by the Federal Department of Narcotics with an undercover sting operation. The film is written and directed by Shane Dax Taylor (Bloodworth, Isolation) and stars Bella Thorne, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Austin Nichols, Mircea Monroe and Skyler Samuels. The movie revolves around an 11-year-old girl who must survive the night after a group of intruders break into her family’s home to steal priceless artwork. Universal Music France has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Jumbo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Thomas Roussel (Take-Away Romance). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Jumbo is written and directed by Zoé Wittock and stars Noémie Merlant, Emmanuelle Bercot and Sam Louwyck. The movie follows a shy young woman who works in an amusement park and still lives at home with her mother, when she meets Jumbo, the park’s new flagship attraction.
