The movie is inspired by by Johann Hari’s 2015 New York Time bestseller Chasing the Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs and centers on jazz singer Billie Holiday during her career as she is targeted by the Federal Department of Narcotics with an undercover sting operation. The movie follows the title character as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Universal Music France has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Jumbo. The album features the film’s original music composed by Thomas Roussel (Take-Away Romance). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Jumbo is written and directed by Zoé Wittock and stars Noémie Merlant, Emmanuelle Bercot and Sam Louwyck. The movie follows a shy young woman who works in an amusement park and still lives at home with her mother, when she meets Jumbo, the park’s new flagship attraction. The show is written by by Richard Abate & Jeremy Ungar (Ride) based on the novel by Alex Morel and stars Sophie Turner, Corey Hawkins and Marta Timofeeva. The thriller follows a woman who has to fight for her life when her plane crashes on a remote snow-covered mountain. Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Disneynature documentary Elephant. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man, Clash of the Titans, Pacific Rim, A Wrinkle in Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 3 and will be available to stream and download on Amazon Music. Elephant is directed by Mark Linfield (Monkey Kingdom, Chimpanzee), co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Alastair Fothergill (Planet Earth, Penguins) and narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.
