Don’t Panic Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi series Spides. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Mario Grigorov (Precious, Shadowdancer, The Paperboy, Kill Chain, Petals on the Wind) & Steven Schwalbe. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Spides is created by Rainer Matsutani and stars Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Falk Hentschel, Damian Hardung, Florence Kasumba, Désirée Nosbusch, Susanne Wuest and Aleksandar Jovanovic. The film is directed by Nick Sarkisov and stars Stephen Dorff, Darren Mann, Colin McKenna, Karrueche Tran, Saïd Taghmaou, Elizabeth Reaser and Donald Faison. The movie revolves around a man who channels his aggression into a World Champion MMA fighter, but when his second son is born with Williams Syndrome, an incurable developmental disorder, he runs away from his family. Virgin Records has released the first-ever official soundtrack album for the 1982 action thriller The Soldier written and directed by James Glickenhaus and starring Ken Wahl, Alberta Watson, Joaquim de Almeida William Prince and Klaus Kinski. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tangerine Dream (Legend, Thief, Firestarter, Miracle Mile). The film is directed by Charles Martin Smith (Dolphin Tale, A Dog’s Way Home) and stars Luke Treadaway, Bob the Cat, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Phaldut Sharma, Nina Wadia, Tim Plester, Pepter Lunkuse, Celyn Jones and Anna Wilson-Jones. The movie is the sequel to 2016’s A Street Cat Named Bob (scored by David Hirschfelder) and follows James Bowen as he looks back at the last Christmas he and Bob spent scraping a living on the streets and how Bob helped him through one of his toughest times. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British political thriller Roadkill created by David Hare and starring Hugh Laurie, Helen McCrory, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Saskia Reeves, Patricia Hodge, Sarah Greene, Ophelia Lovibond, Katie Leung, Iain De Caestecker, Olivia Vinall, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Pippa Bennett-Warner and Pip Torrens.. The show’s original music is composed by Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, A Mighty Heart). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score (to be released by Silva Screen Records) will be announced soon. Premiering on Thursday, November 5, is the Netflix original film Operation Christmas Drop directed by Martin Wood and starring Kat Graham, Alexander Ludwig, Virginia Madsen, Janet Kidder, Jeff Joseph, Bethany Brown, Trezzo Mahoro, Rohan Campbell, Aliza Vellani, Aaron Douglas, Xavier de Guzman and Bruce Best. Hamish Thomson (Chesapeake Shore , Love Locks) has composed the movie’s original score. The romantic comedy, which follows a by-the-book political aide who falls for a big-hearted Air Force pilot while looking to shut down his tropical base and its airborne Christmas tradition, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix. Caldera Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for Mike Leigh’s 2004 British drama Vera Drake starring Imelda Staunton, Phil Davis, Daniel Mays & Eddie Marsan featuring the film’s original music composed by Andrew Dickson. Also included is the composer’s score for Leigh’s 2002 feature All or Nothing starring Timothy Spall & Lesley Manville, as well as selections of his music from Goran Paskaljevic’s Someone Else’s America and Noemie Lvovsky’s 2004 French drama Forget Me (Oublie-moi).
