Nate Walcott & Mike Mogis are composing the original score for the upcoming CBS All Access limited series The Stand. The show is developed by Josh Boone & Benjamin Cavell based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Whoopi Goldberg, Alexander Skarsgård, James Marsden, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, Amber Heard, Owen Teague, Henry Zaga, Brad William Henke, Greg Kinnear, Irene Bedard and Nat Wolff. Boone has directed the first and last episodes and is also executive producing the project with Cavell (SEAL Team), Taylor Elmore (Justified), Will Weiske, Jimmy Miller (Bad Teacher, The Other Guys), Roy Lee (It, The LEGO Movie) and Richard P. Scissors will release a soundtrack album for the drama Princess of the Row. The album features the film’s original music composed by Julian Scherle (Let’s Be Evil, Disrupted, Pause, Hudson). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 27 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and other digital music stores. Princess of the Row is co-written and directed by Van Maximilian Carlson and stars Edi Gathegi, Tayler Buck, Martin Sheen, Ana Ortiz, Jacob Vargas, Tabitha Brow and Jenny Gago. Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Sinéad O’Connor has recorded an original song for the drama Wild Mountain Thyme. The track, entitled I’ll Be Singing, is written by the film’s composer Amelia Warner and director John Patrick Shanley and will be featured in the movie starring Emily Blunt, Jamie Dornan, Jon Hamm, Dearbhla Molloy and Christopher Walken. The movie is based on Shanley’s Broadway play Outside Mullingar and revolves around two obstinate star-crossed lovers whose families are caught up in a feud over a hotly contested patch of land that separates their two farms. Both EPSs feature a selection of holiday-themed songs from the show performed by cast members including H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Kristen Schaal and Larry Murphy.
