Meliam Music has released the second soundtrack album for the HBO Europe original series 30 Coins (30 Monedas). The album features the original music from the show’s second episode (Ouija) composed by Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead, In the Heart of the Sea, The Machinist, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, Come Play). Composer Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Disturbia, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil) is reuniting with director Deon Taylor on the upcoming horror thriller Don’t Fear. The film starring Joseph Sikora, Andrew Bachelor, Anne Ilonzeh, Iddo Goldber, Ruby Modine, Jessica Allain & T.I. takes place a year into living through a worldwide pandemic and follows a group of friends gathered in the remote Tahoe Mountains to stay at the “Historic Strawberry Lodge” who are pushed to the brink of survival as the truth about the historic lodge slowly unravels in front of them. Taylor co-wrote the screenplay with John Ferry and is also producing the Hidden Empire Film Group production with Roxanne Avent Taylor (Supremacy, Meet the Blacks) and Omar Joseph. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the mystery thriller Archenemy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Umberto (aka Matt Hill) (Into the Dark: All That We Destroy, Bloody Ballet). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Waxwork Records will release a vinyl edition. Archenemy is written and directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer and stars Joe Manganiello, Skylan Brooks, Zolee Griggs, Amy Seimetz and Glenn Howerton. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1998 action thriller Hard Rain directed by Mikael Salomon and starring Christian Slater, Morgan Freeman, Randy Quaid, Minnie Driver and Ed Asner. The album features the expanded score from the film composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, The Hurricane, Sinister, Drag Me to Hell, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ghost Rider) and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra, including previously unreleased music and bonus tracks. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1967 drama Banning directed by Ron Winston and starring Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, Gene Hackman, Guy Stockwell and James Farentino. The album, which is being released as part of the label’s Universal Pictures Film Music Classics Collection, features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Quincy Jones (The Color Purple, In Cold Blood, Roots, The Italian Job, In the Heat of the Night Mackenna’s Gold). Also included is the Gil Bernal-performed original theme song The Eyes of Love, for which Jones and lyricist Bob Russell received an Academy Award nomination. The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama The United States vs. Billie Holiday have been revealed. The album features the Billie Holiday songs from the film performed by lead actress Andra Day. Also included are the original songs Tigress & Tweed co-written by Day & Raphael Saadiq (already available as a digital single now) & Break Your Fall written by Warren Oak Felder & Coleridge Tillman, as well as The Devil and I Got Up to Dance a Slow Dance performed by Charlie Wilson and co-written by himself, Jamie Hartman, Felder & Tillmann. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 19 by Warner Records and is now available for pre-order here. A CD version will be coming out on March 12 and is available to order on Amazon. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time) is set to score the upcoming HBO original series House of the Dragon. The show is created by George R.R. Martin & Ryan Condal and stars Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith. The fantasy drama based on Martin’s book Fire & Blood takes place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen (a.k.a. the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen). Miguel Sapochnik (BIOS, Repo Men) & Condal (Colony, Rampage) serve as the showrunners and are also executive producing the project with Martin, Vince Gerardis (Flashforward), Sara Lee Hess and Ron Schmidt. The album features the film’s original score composed by Chris Thomas (Don’t Look Back, Moose, Cadaver, Woman Rebel). Haymaker is written and directed by Nick Sasso and stars Nomi Ruiz, Sasso himself, John Ventimiglia, Veronica Falcón, Udo Kier, Zoë Bell and D.B. Sweeney.
