Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film A Week Away. The album features the songs from the movie written by Adam Watts, Alan Powell & Cory Clark and performed by cast members Kevin Quinn, Bailee Madison, Jahbril Cook, Kat Conner Sterling and Iain Tucker. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 19 and is now available for pre-order here. A CD version will be coming out on April 23 and is available to order on Amazon. Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle, The Curse of La Llorona) has composed the original music for the supernatural horror thriller The Unholy. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast, Hercules) and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Katie Aselton, William Sadler, Diogo Morgado, Cricket Brown, Marina Mazepa, Christine Adams, Bates Wilde and Cary Elwes. The movie is based on James Herbert’s best-selling novel Shrine and centers on a disgraced journalist who discovers a series of divine miracles in a small New England town that has been touched by the apparition of the Virgin Mary and uses them to resurrect his career. 2021 BAFTA Nominations Announced

bafta1 The British Academy of Film and Television has announced the nominations for the 2021 EE British Academy Film Awards, including the five nominees in the music category. The organization has previously released a shortlist of fifteen titles last month. The winners will be announced at the EE British Academy Film Awards on the weekend of April 10 & 11, 2021. A soundtrack album has been released for the Danish drama Erna at War (Erna i krig). The album features the film’s original music composed by Mihkel Zilmer (Burden of Peace, Truth and Justice). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also listen to audio clips. Erna at War is co-written and directed by Henrik Ruben Genz (Terribly Happy) and stars Trine Dyrholm, Anders W. Berthelsen, Ulrich Thomsen and Sylvester Byder. The movie is set in 1918, on the border between Germany and Denmark and tells the story of a woman who disguises herself as a man to join the regiment of her son who has been called up to fight in WWI. Intrada Records has announced the CD premiere release of the soundtrack album for the 1986 comedy Legal Eagles directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Robert Redford, Debra Winger, Daryl Hannah, Brian Dennehy, Terence Stamp and Steven Hill. The album features the original score from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ghostbusters, Airplane, Far from Heaven, The Great Escape). Also included are three songs from the movie performed by The Rascals, Steppenwolf and Daryl Hannah. The film marks the culmination of Guillermo del Toro’s Tales of Arcadia saga and features the voices of Emile Hirsch, Lexi Medrano, Charlie Saxton, Kelsey Grammer, Alfred Molina, Steven Yeun, Nick Frost, Colin O’Donoghue,Diego Luna, Tatiana Maslany and Nick Offerman. The movie takes place after the events of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy and follows the heroes of Arcadia who must band together to protect humanity from the evil Arcane Order, who wield their dark and uncontrollable magic to summon ancient titans that threaten to destroy the world. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Nathaniel Méchaly (Taken, The Grandmaster, Colombiana, Transporter: The SeriesShut In, Taxi Brooklyn). Also included is the song Heideröslein performed by Herbert Grönemeyer. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music stores. Shadowplay is created by Måns Mårlind and stars Taylor Kitsch, Michael C. Hall, Mala Emde, Sebastian Koch, Tuppence Middleton and Logan Marshall-Green. The film is directed by Cristina Costantini & Darren Foster and follows five young star students on their journey to win one of the world’s most prestigious competitions for student entrepreneurs, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross & Jon Batiste were honored with the Critics’ Choice Award in the Best Score category for their music for Pixar’s animated movie Soul at tonight’s virtual 26th Critics’ Choice Awards. Reznor & Ross previously won the award in 2011 for their score for David Fincher’s The Social Network and were also nominated this year for their work on Fincher’s Mank. The other composers nominated in the category were Ludwig Göransson for Tenet, James Newton Howard for News of the World, Alexandre Desplat for The Midnight Sky and Emile Mosseri for Minari.
