Jazz musician Avishai Cohen is composing the original music for the upcoming historical drama Tel-Aviv/Beirut. The film is directed by Michale Boganim (Land of Oblivion, Odessa…Odessa!) and stars Zalfa Seurat, Sarah Adler, Shlomi Elkabetz, Younès Bouab, Sofia Essaïdi and Maayane Boganim. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Israeli–Lebanese conflict in 1982 and 2006 and tells the story of two families on each side of the border whose fate intertwined because of the war raging in Lebanon. MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Senior Moment. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, Underground, Black Nativity, Step). HBO Max announced today the animated special The Runaway Bunny based on the children’s book by Margaret Wise Brown. The project is produced and directed by Amy Schatz (Song of Parkland) and will feature a performance of the never-before-released original Margaret Wise Brown lullaby Song of the Runaway Bunny by Tracee Ellis Ross (who is also narrating the special), a new reinterpretation of Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey, a new version of Bob Dylan’s Make You Feel My Love by Kelly Rowland, as well other songs performed by Rosanne Cash, Ziggy Marley, Kimya Dawson, Rufus Wainwright and Michael Kiwanuka. Victor Victor Worldwide & Republic Records have released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama Boogie. The album features the songs from the film by artists such as Pop Smoke (who also appears in the movie), 10k Mula, Jacquees, Nycani, Fivio Foreign, Bad Boy Raco G, Kamaal Williams & others.
