Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Discovery. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Picard, Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, Lucy in the Sky, The Umbrella Academy). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring Russo’s score from Season 1 and an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 2. Yugo Kanno to Score Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness’

Netflix announced today that Yugo Kanno (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Batman Ninja, Psycho Pass, Ajin) is composing the music for the upcoming Netflix anime series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. The horror action series directed by Eiichiro Hasumi (Umizaru, The Sun Does Not Move) and produced and supervised by Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi is based around the stories of the two popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. TMS Entertainment is producing the project, while Quebico, led by Kei Miyamoto (Resident Evil: Vendetta) is in charge of the full 3DCG animation production. Secrets of the Whales is directed by Brian Armstrong & Andy Mitchell and plunges viewers deep within the epicenter of whale culture to experience the extraordinary communication skills and intricate social structures of five different whale species: orcas, belugas, humpbacks, narwhals and sperm whales. Composer Joseph Bishara is reuniting with director James Wan on the upcoming horror thriller Malignant. The film stars Annabelle Wallis, Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jake Abel, Jacqueline McKenzie and Ingrid Bisu. No plot details have been announced yet. Akela Cooper (Hell Fest) and JT Petty (The Burrowers) wrote the screenplay based on a story by James Wan & Ingrid Bisu.
