WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the CW musical comedy drama Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The album features all original songs from the show’s second season written by the series’ star Rachel Bloom, as well as Adam Schlesinger, Jack Dolgen & more and performed by the cast. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released two soundtrack albums featuring the music from the first season. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is created by Aline Brosh McKenna & Bloom who also stars in the show with Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Pete Gardner, Santino Fontana, Vella Lovell and Gabrielle Ruiz.

David Holmes to Score Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Logan Lucky’
David Holmes is reteaming with director Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Erin Brockovich) on the upcoming comedy Logan Lucky. The film stars Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Adam Driver, Sebastian Stan, Riley Keough, Katherine Waterston, Katie Holmes, David Denman, Jack Quaid and Seth MacFarlane. The movie follows two brothers as they set out to perform an elaborate robbery during a widely watched NASCAR race. Rebecca Blunt wrote the screenplay and Reid Carolin & Gregory Jacobs (Magic Mike, The Knick, Edge of Tomorrow) and Mark Johnson (Rain Man, The Chronicles of Narnia, Breaking Bad) are producing the project.
Jeff Russo to Score Netflix’s ‘Altered Carbon’
Jeff Russo has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix original series Altered Carbon. The show is created by Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island, Terminator Genysis) based on the novel of the same title by Richard K. Morgan and stars Joel Kinnaman, James Purefoy, Kristin Lehman, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Martha Higareda, Dichen Lachman, Leonardo Nam, Chris Conner, Ato Essandoh, Marlene Forte, Trieu Tran, Byron Mann and Tamara Taylor. The sci-fi drama is set in the 25th century when the human mind has been digitized and the soul is transferable from one body to the next.
‘Take My Leave of You’ from ‘Broadchurch’ Released
Mercury Classics is releasing the original song Take My Leave of You from the first episode of the third season of ITV’s Broadchurch. The track is composed by the show’s composer Olafur Arnalds and performed by Arnór Dan and is being released as a digital single on February 28 and is available to download on Amazon. Broadchurch is created by Chris Chibnall and stars David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan, Arthur Darvill, Carolyn Pickles, Adam Wilson and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The series’ third season premiered in the UK tonight on ITV.

Premiering tomorrow, February 27, is the ABC mini-series When We Rise created by Dustin Lance Black and starring Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker, Rachel Griffiths, Michael K. Williams and Ivory Aquino. The show’s themes and music are composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland) and Chris Bacon (Source Code, Bates Motel). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring a suite from the composers’ score, as well as songs by Jordan Fisher, Fancy, Brandi Carlile and Zella Day. Also premiering tomorrow is the NBC drama Taken developed by Alexander Cary based on the Luc Besson-produced feature of the same title and starring Clive Standen, Jennifer Beals, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Gaius Charles, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert and Jose Pablo Cantillo. Trevor Morris (Vikings, Immortals, The Borgias, Olympus/London Has Fallen) is composing the show’s original music. ‘Hand of God’ Season 2 Soundtrack Details
Amazon Content Services will release a new soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Hand of God. The album features the songs from the show’s second season by Holly Marilyn Solem. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the singer/songwriter’s songs from the first season of the drama. Hand of God is created by Ben Watkins and stars Ron Perlman, Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt, Andre Royo, Alona Tal, Julian Morris, Elizabeth McLaughlin and Hunter Parrish. The show, which follows a corrupt judge who suffers a breakdown and believes God is compelling him onto a path of vigilante justice, will return for its second and final season on March 10.
‘Nashville’ Season 5 – Vol. 1 Soundtrack Announced
Big Machine Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the CMT original series Nashville. The album features the songs from the first half of the show’s fifth season performed by cast members including Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Carmack and Lennon & Maisy. The soundtrack will be released on March 10, 2017. The ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Music Album Details Revealed
The full details of the first full soundtrack album for the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers have been revealed. The album features the songs from the show performed by the voice cast. Bob’s Burgers is created by Louren Bouchard and features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal. The animated comedy follows Bob Belcher and his wife and three kids who try to run their last hope of holding the family together, which is running Bob’s dream restaurant.
‘The Chamber’ Soundtrack Details
Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the British thriller The Chamber. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Manic Street Preachers lead guitarist and vocalist James Dean Bradfield who made his feature film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack wil be released on March 10, 2017 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. The Chamber is written and directed by Ben Parker and stars Charlotte Salt, Johannes Kuhnke, Elliot Levey, Christian Hillborg and James McArdle. The movie centers on an elite special ops unit that commanders a submersible research vessel to locate a mysterious item at the bottom of the Yellow Sea.

Universal Music has released the original song We Can Always Come Back to This from last night’s episode of NBC’s This Is Us, entitled Memphis. The song is written by the show’s composer Siddhartha Khosla & singer/songwriter Chris Pierce and performed by Brian Tyree.
