Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for Pixar SparkShorts’ Loop. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Orton (Nebraska, The Good Girl, My Old Lady) . The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Loop is written and directed by Erica Milsom and features the voices of Madison Bandy, Christiano ‘Chachi’ Delgado and Louis Gonzales. The Pixar Animation Studios production follows a non-verbal, autistic girl and a chatty boy who are partnered on a canoeing trip and must both learn how the other experiences the world.

Alexander Bornstein to Score Netflix’s ‘Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege’
Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. Among the series’ voice cast are Jake Foushee (as Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (as Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (as Elita-1), Joe Zieja (as Bumblebee), Frank Todaro, Rafael Goldstein, Keith Silverstein, Todd Haberkorn, Edward Bosco, Bill Rogers, Sophia Isabella, Brook Chalmers, Shawn Hawkins, Kaiser Johnson, Miles Luna and Mark Whitten.
Apple TV+’s ‘Amazing Stories’ to Feature Music by Harry Gregson-Williams, Ramin Djawadi, Mark Isham & Others
The full composer line-up of the first episodes of Apple TV+’s reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories has been revealed. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, Return to Me, Captain Ron) has scored the first episode, The Cellar (premiering on March 6), directed by Chris Long (The Americans) and starring Victoria Pedretti and Dylan O’Brien. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Iron Man) & Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Thinning) have co-scored the second episode, The Heat (premiering on March 13), directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard, The Losers) and starring E’myri Crutchfield, Hailey Kilgore and Shane Paul McGhie. Episode 3, entitled Dynoman and the Volt (premiering on March 20), directed by Susanna Fogel (The Spy Who Dumped Me) and starring Robert Forster & Tyler Crumley is scored by Noah Sorota (Falling Skies, Jinn).
‘Lamp Life’ Soundtrack Released
Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack EP for the Pixar Animation Studios short Lamp Life . The 4-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Dumplin’, Forky Asks a Question, Like a Boss, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Keeping Up with the Joneses). The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Lamp Life is directed by Valerie LaPointe and features the voice talent of Christina Hendricks, Annie Potts and Jim Hanks. The short, which explores what exactly happened to Bo Peep between her separation from Woody to the events in Toy Story 4, premiered last month and is now available to stream exclusively on Disney+.

Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC series The Mallorca Files. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Charlie Mole (An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Dorian Gray, Othello, Dad’s Army), including the songs Surrender and Time on Our Side performed by Anna Ross. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for Pixar’s animated short series Forky Asks a Question. The album features the original music from all ten episodes the show composed by Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Lamp Life, Dumplin’, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Like a Boss) who previously worked on the Pixar short Piper. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Forky Asks a Question is created by Bob Peterson and features the voice talent of Tony Hale, Peterson himself, John Ratzenberger and Robin Atkin Downes.
Soundtrack Album for ABC/Netflix Series ‘The Letdown’ to Be Released
Australian Broadcasting Corp (ABC) will release a soundtrack for the TV series The Letdown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Sally Seltmann & Darren Seltmann. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 6 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Letdown is created by Sarah Scheller & Alison Bell and stars Bell herself, Duncan Fellows, Noni Hazlehurst, Sacha Horler, Lucy Durack, Leon Ford, Celeste Barber, Taylor Ferguson, Xana Tang, Sarah Peirse and Leah Vandenberg. The comedy follows a mother of a 2-month-old as she joins a new-parents support group, where she makes some quirky friends facing various challenges and life changes.
Joseph Stephens Scoring Amazon’s ‘Upload’
Joseph Stephens (Observe and Report, Eastbound & Down, Flower, Vice Principals) is the composer of the upcoming Amazon original series Upload. The show is created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and stars Robbie Amell, Andy Allo, Allegra Edwards, Zainab Johnson and Kevin Bigley. The sci-fi comedy is set in a technologically advanced future and follows a young app developer who – following a near-death car accident – chooses to be uploaded to her family’s luxurious virtual afterlife. Daniels is also executive producing the Amazon Studios production with Howard Klein (Jessica Jones, The Mindy Project).

BMG will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series I Am Not Okay with This. The album features the original songs from the show performed by Bloodwitch and co-written by the series’ composer Blur’s Graham Coxon (The End of the F***ing World). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 26 and will be available to stream/download here. I Am Not Okay with This is created by Jonathan Entwistle & Christy Hall based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel and stars Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Sofia Bryant, Richard Ellis, Kathleen Rose Perkins and Aidan Wojtak-Hissong. The drama revolves around a teenage girl as she navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers.
David Buckley to Score Amazon’s ‘The Wheel of Time’
David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Forbidden Kingdom, Papillon, Angel Has Fallen, The Stranger) has been tapped to score the upcoming Amazon original series The Wheel of Time. The show is developed by Rafe Judkins based on Robert Jordan’s fantasy epic of the same name and stars Rosamund Pike, Marcus Rutherford, Josha Stradowski, Daniel Henney, Madeleine Madden, Zoë Robins, Barney Harris, Priyanka Bose, Taylor Napier and Emmanuel Imani. The fantasy drama follows Moiraine, a member of the shadowy and influential all-female organization called the ‘Aes Sedai’ as she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women.
