Fall Out Boy lead singer Patrick Stump (Gnome Alone, Black Friday, Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Changeland, & Mark, Mary & Some Other People) has provided the original music for the upcoming animated holiday special Merry Little Batman. The film is directed by Mike Roth and features the voices of Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, James Cromwell and David Hornsby. The Warner Bros. Animation production follows Damian Wayne as he is left home alone while Batman takes on Gotham’s supervillains on Christmas Eve, when he stumbles upon a villainous plot to steal Christmas and leaps at the chance to save the day.

Netflix Music has released the original song Badi Baddy from the seventh season of the Netflix original animated series Big Mouth. The track co-written (with Amrit Rao) and performed by Sofia Ashraf is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the full song below. ‘The Santa Clauses’ Season 2 Soundtrack Single Released
Hollywood Records has released released a new digital single featuring two songs from the second season of the Disney+ original series The Santa Clauses. The 2-track single includes Dancing with My Elf (a cover of Billy Idol’s Dancing with Myself) produced by series composer Ariel Rechtshaid and performed by the members of the show’s cast, as well as a cover of Darlene Love’s Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) produced by The Diner, Jordan Cohen, Jonny Koh, Clyde & Gracie Lawrence and performed by the cast feat. Anne Dudley Scoring Apple TV+’s ‘The Velveteen Rabbit’
Anne Dudley (The Full Monty, Poldark, American History X, The Crying Game, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, The Hustle, Benedetta) has composed the original music for the new Apple TV+ holiday special The Velveteen Rabbit. The live-action animated hybrid special is based on the children’s book of the same name by Margery Williams and stars Phoenix Laroche and features the voice talent fo Alex Lawther (in the title role), Helena Bonham Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Bethany Antonia, Paterson Joseph, Lois Chimimba, Clive Rowe, Tilly Vosburgh, Nathaniel Parker, Samantha Colley and Leonard Buckley. The Magic Light Pictures production tells the story of a 7-year-old boy who discovers a lifelong friend when he receives a new favorite toy for Christmas and unlocks a world of magic.

Making its linear debut tonight is the Showtime original series The Curse created by Benny Safdie & Nathan Fielder and starring Emma Stone, Fielder and Safdie. The show’s original music is composed John Medeski and executive produced by Daniel Lopatin (Uncut Gems, Good Time). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the score this coming Friday, November 17. The comedy premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.
Also premiering today is the MGM+ original series Beacon 23 created by Zak Penn based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling book and starring Lean Headey and Stephan James. William Marriott has composed the show’s original score. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim, Westworld, Iron Man, House of the Dragon, Eternals) has contributed the theme and also serves as the project’s music producer. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Iron Man, Eternals, House of the Dragon, Clash of the Titans) has contributed the theme and also served as the music producer on the show created by Zak Penn (Ready Player One, Free Guy) based on the best-selling book by Hugh Howey and starring Lean Headey and Stephan James. The sci-fi thriller follows a government agent and a stoic ex-military man, whose fates become entangled after they find themselves trapped together inside one of many Beacons that serve as a lighthouse for intergalactic travelers.
‘Romancero’ Soundtrack Album Released
Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Amazon original series Romancero. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Resurrection, Raw, Beast, A Field in England, Sightseers).
