MovieScore Media has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Susanne Bier’s romantic comedy Love Is All You Need. The album features the film’s original score composed by Johan Söderqvist (Kon-Tiki, Let the Right One In) who has previously collaborated with the director on such films as After the Wedding and Brothers. Also featured is a suite from one of the first collaborations between Bier and Söderqvist, the 1994 comedy Family Matters. The soundtrack has just been released overseas and will be released physically in the US on August 6, 2013. Love Is All You Need starring Pierce Brosnan, Trine Dyrholm, Sebastian Jessen, Molly Blixt Egelind, Paprika Steen, Kim Bodnia and Christiane Schaumburg-Muller premiered at last year’s Venice and Toronto Film Festival and was released theatrically in the US last month by Sony Pictures Classics.

‘The Lone Ranger’ – Music Inspired By the Film Soundtrack Details
Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for Gore Verbinski’s upcoming western The Lone Ranger. The album features songs inspired by the film by artists including Ben Kweller, Iggy Pop, Shane MacGowan, Lucinda Williams, The White Buffalo, The Rubens, John Grant, Sara Watkins, Pete Molinari and Gomez. The soundtrack will be released on July 2, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, a separate album featuring the movie’s score composed by Hans Zimmer will also be released. Since our last update, it has been announced that Intrada Records will release a physical version, while the album will come out digitally by Walt Disney Records. The Lone Ranger produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and starring Armie Hammer in the film’s title role of the masked crime fighter and Johnny Depp as his Native American sidekick from the popular 1950s TV series will be released on July 3, 2012 by Walt Disney Pictures.
James Horner’s Complete ‘Clear and Present Danger’ Score Released
Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1994 thriller Clear and Present Danger based on Tom Clancy’s novel, directed by Phillip Noyce and starring Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan. The album features the film’s music composed and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer James Horner. The previous original soundtrack release only included half of the composer’s score for the Paramount Pictures production. ‘The Hangover’ Trilogy Score Album Details
WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for Todd Phillips’ The Hangover trilogy. The album features selections from the scores of all three movies in the hit comedy series composed by Christophe Beck (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Red, The Muppets). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. A physical version will be released on June 25, 2013 by Varese Sarabande Records and is available for pre-order here. WaterTower Music has previously released an album featuring Beck’s score from the original 2009 film, while the scores for the sequels have previously been unreleased. The Hangover Part III starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Ken Jeong is currently playing in theaters worldwide.
‘Summer in February’ Soundtrack Announced
UPDATE January 2014: The soundtrack has been released in the U.S. by Deutsche Grammophon and is available to order on Amazon.
Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the British period drama Summer in February. The album includes the film’s original score composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (The Escapist, Conquest 1493) featuring piano solos by Yuja Wang. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on June 24, 2013 and is now available for pre-order as an import on Amazon. Summer in February is directed by Christopher Menaul and stars Dominic Cooper, Emily Browning, Dan Stevens and Hattie Morahan. The drama based on Jonathan Smith’s novel about love and loss among a bohemian colony of artists which flourished in the wild coastal region of Cornwall before the First World War will be released in the UK on June 14. No word yet on a domestic release of the film.
‘Turbo’ Soundtrack Details
Relativity Music Group will release the soundtrack album for Dreamworks Animation’s upcoming feature Turbo. The album features the songs from the film by Snoop Dogg, RUN-DMC, Tom Jones, Pitbull, Jackson 5, House of Pain, Ozomatli and Survivor. Also included are selections from the film’s original score composed by Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class). The soundtrack will be released on June 16, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Turbo is directed by David Soren and features the voice talent of Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Michael Pena, Luis Guzmán, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Ken Jeong, Michelle Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, Ben Schwartz, Kurtwood Smith, Snoop Dogg and Samuel L. Jackson.
‘No Place on Earth’ Soundtrack Details
Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the documentary No Place on Earth. The album features the film’s original score composed by John Piscitello. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 11, 2013. Audio clips will be added to this article within the next couple of days. No Place on Earth is directed by Janet Tobias and tells the untold story of thirty-eight Ukrainian Jews who survived World War II by living in caves for eighteen months, the longest-recorded sustained underground survival. The movie premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released in select theaters this past April by Magnolia Pictures.
‘The Way, Way Back’ Soundtrack Details
Columbia Records will release the official soundtrack album for the indie comedy The Way, Way Back. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Edie Brickell, INXS, Ben Kweller, UFO, Robert Palmer, Mr. Mister, Young Galaxy, Army Navy, Wild Belle, Tim Myers, Eli “Paperboy” Reed and The Apache Relay. Also featured is a track from the movie’s original score composed by Rob Simonsen (500 Days of Summer, All Good Things). The soundtrack will be released on July 2, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Way, Way Back is directed by Jim Rash and Nat Faxon (writers of The Descendants) and stars Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Allison Janney, AnnaSophia Robb, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amanda Peet, Rob Corddry and Liam James. The movie about a teen boy who struggles to find himself as he comes to terms with his unattentive mother and cheating stepfather during summer vacation premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival where it was acquired by Fox Searchlight for a theatrical release on July 5.
‘Copperhead’ Soundtrack Details
Varese Sarabande Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the historical drama Copperhead. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Laurent Eyquem (Winnie) who recorded his orchestral score at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. The soundtrack will be released physically on July 9, 2013. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Copperhead is directed by Ron Maxwell (Gettysburg, Gods and Generals) and stars Billy Campbell, Angus MacFadyen and Peter Fonda. The movie is set during the Civil War and follows a stubborn and righteous farmer of Upstate New York, who defies his neighbors and his government in the bloody and contentious autumn of 1862. The film will be released in theaters on June 28, 2013.
‘Much Ado About Nothing’ Soundtrack Details
Bellwether Records will release the official soundtrack album for the new film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joss Whedon who has also written, directed and produced the movie. Film composer Deborah Lurie (Dear John, 9, An Unfinished Life) served as the score’s producer. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 6, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The movie premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and has been picked up by Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions for domestic distribution.
