Atlantic Records will release two different soundtrack albums for the final installment in the Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Scheduled for a release on November 13, 2012 is a soundtrack featuring the songs from and inspired by the film. To pre-order the album, visit Amazon. Also coming out on the same day is a score release featuring the music composed by Carter Burwell who has scored his third film in the series following Catherine Hardwicke’s first Twilight installment and last year’s Breaking Dawn – Part 1. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 directed by Bill Condon and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be released on November 16, 2012 by Summit Entertainment.

‘In the House’ Soundtrack Details
Cristal Publishing will release a soundtrack album for Francois Ozon’s French thriller In the House (Dans la maison). The album features the film’s original score by the director’s regular musical collaborator Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Potiche, Angel). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 8, 2012 in France. Click here to listen to audio clips from the score. No word yet on a domestic release of the soundtrack, but check back on this site for updates. In the House is written and directed by Ozon and stars Fabrice Luchini, Ernst Umhauer, Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmanuelle Seigner and Denis Menochet. The movie follows a professor and a student who comes to threaten the relationships of those around them. The film recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and has been picked up by Cohen Media Group for domestic distribution. The thriller will be released in France on October 10 and in other European markets in the following weeks and months.
‘You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet’ Soundtrack Released
A soundtrack album for Alain Resnais’ drama You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet (Vous n’avez encore rien vu) has been released overseas earlier this week. The album features the film’s original score written by Emmy-nominated composer Mark Snow (The X-Files, Smallville). To listen to audio clips, visit the French Amazon store. You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet marks Snow’s third collaboration with Resnais following Provate Fears in Public Places and Wild Grass. The French/German production stars Mathieu Amalric, Sabine Azéma, Anne Consigny and Lambert Wilson. The film follows a celebrated playwright who gathers together all his friends who have appeared over the years in his play Eurydice to watch a recording of the work performed by a young acting company. The movie premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and has just been released in France on September 26.
‘Bait 3D’ Soundtrack Released
MovieScore Media’s Screamworks Records has released a soundtrack album for the Australian horror film Bait 3D. The album features the film’s score written by Singaporean composer Joe Ng and Alex Oh. The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Bait 3D is directed by Kimble Rendall and stars Xavier Samuel, Julian McMahon, Sharni Vinson and Phoebe Tonkin. Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Resident Evil: Extinction) has co-written the screenplay with John Kim and is also executive producing the film. Todd Fellman (Daybreakers), Gary Hamilton and Peter Barbers are also producing the project. The Screen Australia production opened in Australian theaters earlier this month and has been released in the US on Blu-Ray and DVD last week.
Expanded ‘Black Rain’ Soundtrack Announced
La-La Land Records has announced an expanded and remastered soundtrack release for Ridley Scott’s 1989 action thriller Black Rain starring Michael Douglas, Andy Garcia and Ken Takakura. The 2-CD set features the film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer on one disc and the original 1989 album (which includes such songs as I’ll Be Holding On performed Gregg Allman, Livin’ on the Edge of the Night by Iggy Pop and The Way You Do the Things You Do by UB 40), as well as a number of bonus tracks on the second disc. ‘My Uncle Rafael’ Soundtrack Details
La-La Land Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the indie comedy My Uncle Rafael. The album features the film’s original music composed and arranged by Joey Newman (The Middle) and Chris Westlake (Transit). Also included are two original songs written for the film, Keep It Move’n performed by Moybrothaz and Rafael performed by Smith & Pyle (Shawnee Smith & Missi Pyle). The limited edition release is now available to order on La-La Land Records’ website, where you can listen to audio clips. My Uncle Rafael directed by Marc Fusco and starring John Michael Higgins, Missi Pyle, Anthony Clark, Vahik Pirhamzei, Rachel Blanchard, Joe Lo Truglio, Carly Chaikin and Ursula Taheria opened in select cities this past weekend.
‘Magic City’ Score Album Details
Silva Screen Records has announced the details of the score album for the Starz original series Magic City. The album features selections from the score of the first season of the series composed by Daniele Luppi (Assassination of a High School President, Hellride). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2012. Audio clips will be added to this article within the next week. As previously reported, the label has also released a soundtrack featuring the songs from the drama. Magic City created by Mitch Glazer and starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Olga Kurylenko, Jessica Marais and Steven Strait premiered this spring on Starz and has already been renewed for a second season to air in early 2013.
‘King Kong’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Announced
Film Score Monthly has announced a deluxe soundtrack edition for the 1976 remake of King Kong directed by John Guillermin and starring Jeff Bridges, Jessica Lange and Charles Grodin. The 2-CD set features the complete score composed and conducted by Academy Award-winning composer John Barry on one disc, as well as the original 1976 album and several alternates on the second disc. King Kong The film received an Academy Award for Best Special Effects (shared with Logan’s Run) and was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Sound.
‘The Oranges’ Soundtrack Details
Relativity Music Group will be releasing a soundtrack album for the indie comedy The Oranges. The album features two tracks from the film’s score composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Time Machine) and Andrew Raiher, as well as the movie’s songs by artists including Treefight For Sunlight, The Submarines, Frazey Ford, Jon Allen, Schuyler Fisk, Zee Avi, The Grand Nationals, Dean Martin, Orba Squara and Derlene Love. The soundtrack will be released on October 2, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips from the album are available after the jump. The Oranges is directed by Julian Farino and stars Hugh Laurie, Leighton Meester, Catherine Keener, Adam Brody, Alia Shawkat, Allison Janney and Oliver Platt. The film about a man who begins an affair with the daughter of the family who lives across the street premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and has been picked up by ATO Pictures for a US theatrical release on October 5.
Alexandre Desplat’s ‘Reality’ Soundtrack Announced
The details of the soundtrack album for Matteo Garrone’s dark comedy Reality have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score written by Academy Award-nominated composer Alexandre Desplat, as well as the film’s songs performed by Emilia Majello and Franco Ricciardi & Ivan Granatino. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A physical version is currently only available as an import from Italy. Audio clips from all tracks on the album can be checked out after the jump. Reality written and directed by Garrone (Gomorrah) follows a man who dreams of being a contestant on a reality show. The Italian/French co-production premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is set to be released in Italy this weekend and in other European territories over the next couple of weeks. Oscilloscope Laboratories has picked up domestic rights for the comedy.
