Premiering tomorrow, October 24, is the new CBS comedy Man with a Plan created by Jackie & Jeff Filgo (That 70’s Show) and starring Matt LeBlanc, Liza Snyder, Kevin Nealon, Diana Maria Riva, Matt Cook and Jessica Chaffi. The show’s original music is composed by John Kimbrough (Winter Passing, Jump Tomorrow, A Decade Under the Influence). Premiering on Thursday, October 27, is the new CBS comedy The Great Indoors created by Mike Gibbons and starring Joel McHale, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Susannah Fielding, Christine Ko, Shaun Brown, Stephen Fry and Chris Williams. Ben and Scott Hoffman are composing the show’s original music. The series revolves around an adventure reporter who, after being sidelined by an injury, suddenly finds himself in his magazine’s digital/social media department, where he must manage a group of millennials. Also premiering on Thursday in the U.S. is the British supernatural drama series The Living and the Dead created by Ashley Pharoah & Matthew Graham and starring Colin Morgan, Charlotte Spencer and Nicholas Woodeson. The show’s original music is composed by The Insects (Death Comes to Pemberlay). A soundtrack album is in the works. The Living in the Dead centers on a man whose farm is believed to be at the centre of numerous supernatural occurrences. Premiering on Friday, October 28, is the Netflix original movie Seven Years (7 anos) directed by Roger Gual and starring Paco Leon, Alex Brendemuhl, Manuel Moron, Juana Acosta and Juan Pablo Raba. Federico Jusid (The Secret in Their Eyes, Isabel, Misconduct, Kidnap) has composed the film’s original music and also serves as a producer on the project. The show’s original music is composed by Dhani Harrison and Paul Hicks (Learning to Drive, The Divide, Beautiful Creatures). Missing from last week’s weekly TV music roundup was the new season of the anthology series Black Mirror. The six episodes of the first season to air on Netflix are scored by Max Richter, Clint Mansell, Martin Phipps, Bear McCreary, Alex Heffes and Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow.
