Premiering on Tuesday, September 22, is the Netflix docu-series The Playbook executive produced by LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, Philip Byron, Christopher Leggett, Rafael Marmor, Josh Greenbaum, Andrew Fried, John Henion, Dane Lillegard and Jordan Wynn. The show’s original music is composed by Jeremy Zuckerman (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Scream: The TV Series, Horse Girl). The series, which profiles legendary coaches as they share the rules they live by to achieve success in sports and in life, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering on Wednesday, September 23, is the mystery adventure Enola Holmes directed by Harry Bradbeer and starring Millie Bobby Brown, Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham-Carter. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, Birds of Prey, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Wednesday is the documentary Console Wars directed by Jonah Tulis and Blake J. Harris . The film’s original music is composed by Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Pollock, Rome, Monk, The Biggest Little Farm, Carnivale, Appaloosa, Ugly Betty). Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, September 24 is the British limited series The Murders at White House Farm, written by Kris Mrksa & Giula Sandler, directed by Paul Whittington and starring Freddie Fox, Stephen Graham, Mark Addy, Gemma Whelan, Alexa Davies,and Mark Stanley. Niall Byrne (In Darkness, Hatton Garden, Manhunt) has composed the show’s original music. The drama, which revolves around the murders of three generations of the Bamber-Caffell family in 1985, premiered earlier this year in the UK (under the title White House Farm) on ITV and is making its U.S. debut on HBO Max.
Premiering on Friday, September 25 is the Amazon original series Utopia developed by Gillian Flynn based on Dennis Kelly’s British TV series and starring Sasha Lane, Rainn Wilson, Dan Byrd, Javon Walton, Ashleigh LaThrop, Desmin Borges, Cory Michael Smith, Jessica Rothe, Christopher Denham, Farrah Mackenzie, Jeanine Serralle and John Cusack. Also premiering on Friday is the Disney+ original movie Secret Society of Second Born Royals directed by Anna Mastro and starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Niles Fitch, Olivia Deeble, Isabella Blake Thomas, Noah Lomax, Ashley Liao, Greg Bryk,Faly Rakotohavana, Elodie Yung and Skylar Astin. Mark Eliyahu has composed the show’s original music. The thriller, which tells the story of a Mossad agent who goes deep undercover on a dangerous mission in Tehran that places her and everyone around her in dire jeopardy, premiered in Israel earlier this summer and is making its U.S. debut on Apple TV+.
