Premiering tonight is the new ABC drama The Company You Keep developed by Julia Cohen & Phil Klemmer and starring Milo Ventimiglia, Catherine Haena Kim, William Fichtner, Sarah Wayne Callies,Tim Chiou, Freda Foh Shen, James Saito, Felisha Terrell and Polly Drap. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Garber (Virgin River, Nancy Drew) & Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us). Check out our previous news article to learn more about the series, which will air Sundays on ABC and will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Premiering on Wednesday, February 22, is the British Netlix original film The Strays written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White and starring Ashley Madekwe, Jorden Myrie, Maria Almeida and Bukky Bakray. Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (Living, Rocks, The Forgotten Battle, Censor) has composed the movie’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Jeff Garber (Virgin River, Nancy Drew) & Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building, Runaways) are composing the original score for the new ABC drama The Company You Keep. The show is developed by Julia Cohen and Phil Klemmer (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Tomorrow People) based on the Korean Broadcasting System series My Fellow Citizens and stars Milo Ventimiglia, Catherine Haena Kim, William Fichtner, Freda Foh Shen, Tim Chiou, Sarah Wayne Callies, James Saito, Felisha Terrell and Polly Drap.

Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the horror reboot Evil Dead directed by Fede Alvarez and starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore. The film’s music is written by Spanish composer Roque Banos (The Machinist, Sexy Beast). La-La Land Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally on April 9. A physical release featuring more than 25 minutes of additional music is set to be released on May 7. The full album details will be posted on this website within the next couple of days. Also opening wide is the Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park 3D based on the novel by Michael Crichton and starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough. The movie’s music is composed and conducted by John Williams. Geffen Records has released a 20th Anniversary soundtrack edition featuring the content of the original album, as well as four previously unreleased tracks. ‘The Company You Keep’ Soundtrack Details

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for Robert Redfords’s thriller The Company You Keep. The album features the film’s original score composed by Cliff Martinez (Traffic, Drive, Contagion). The soundtrack will be released on April 9, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Company You Keep stars Shia LaBeouf, Nick Nolte, Sam Elliott, Brendan Gleeson, Terrence Howard, Anna Kendrick, Brit Marling, Nick Nolte, Julie Christie, Richard Jenkins, Jacqueline Evancho, Susan Sarandon, Stephen Root and Stanley Tucci. The movie about a former Weather Underground activist who goes on the run from a journalist who has discovered his identity premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for a theatrical release on April 5 in select cities.

Cliff Martinez to Score Robert Redford’s ‘The Company You Keep’

Cliff Martinez has been hired to score the upcoming thriller The Company You Keep. The movie is directed by Robert Redford who also stars in the film alongside Shia LaBeouf, Nick Nolte, Sam Elliott, Brendan Gleeson, Terrence Howard, Anna Kendrick, Brit Marling, Nick Nolte, Julie Christie, Richard Jenkins, Susan Sarandon, Stephen Root and Stanley Tucci. The thriller is written by Lem Dobbs (The Score, The Limey) based on a novel by Neil Gordon and centers on a former militant wanted by the FBI who must go on a run after his true identity is exposed by an ambitious young reporter. Redford is producing the film with Bill Holderman (The Conspirator) through his Wilwood Enterprises production company and Nicholas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) is producing through Voltage Pictures.
