Rob (aka Robin Coudert) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix and BBC mini-series Troy: Fall of a City. The show is created by David Farr (The Night Manager, Hanna) and stars Louis Hunter, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Christian Schoombie, David Gysai, Lex King, Bella Dayne, David Threlfall and Frances O’Connor. The 8-parter retells the story of the 10 year old siege of Troy and focuses on the story’s origins: the judgement of Paris, his scandalous love affair with Helen and and the ill-starred prophecy surrounding his birth.

‘Gangsterdam’ Soundtrack Announced
L’R du Trésor will release a soundtrack album for Romain Lévy’s French comedy Gangsterdam. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Horns, Maniac, Populaire, Every Secret Thing) who previously scored Lévy’s Radiostars. Also included are tracks by Tangerine Dream, Skepta, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Booba, The Game and Omer Adam. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 29, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Gangsterdam starring Kev Adams, Manon Azem, Côme Levin, Mona Walravens and Patrick Timsit follows three college students who travel to Amsterdam, where their lives become a lot more complicated when they find out that the drug they’ve come to collect belongs to the city’s most notorious criminals.
Rob to Score Coralie Fargeat’s ‘Revenge’
Rob (aka Robin Coudert) is set to compose the music for the upcoming thriller Revenge. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Coralie Fargeat and stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe and Guillaume Bouchède. The movie revolves around a woman seeking revenge after being abused by three men and left for dead in the desert. Marc-Etienne Schwartz is producing the project, which is being filmed in English and French, for M.E.S. Prods., alongside Marc Stanimirovic (Kaamelott) for Monkey Pack Films.
‘Planetarium’ Soundtrack Announced
Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for Rebecca Zlotowski’s drama Planetarium. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Every Secret Thing, Populaire). Also included are the composer’s scores for Zlotowski 2010 & 2013 features Belle Épine and Grand Central. The 2-CD set will be released on November 10, 2016 and is now available to pre-order as an import here. The soundtrack will be also be available digitally on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Planetarium is co-written and directed by Zlotowski and stars Natalie Portman and Lily Rose Depp. The movie is set in the 1930s and follows two sisters who are believed to possess the supernatural ability to connect with ghosts and cross paths with a visionary French producer while performing in Paris.
‘The Bureau’ Soundtrack Released
Universal Music has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series The Bureau. The album features the show’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Awakening: The Beginning, Every Secret Thing). Also included is the drama’s title song Trust by Jeanne Added. The soundtrack is now available digitally in France. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action movie Mad Max: Fury Road directed by George Miller and starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee and Courtney Eaton. Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) has composed the film’s original music. WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (The Lego Movie, Hotel Transylvania, 21 Jump Street). ‘Horns’ Score Album Announced
Lakeshore Records has announced a score album for Alexandre Aja’s horror thriller Horns. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) who previously scored the Aja-produced Maniac. The soundtrack was released yesterday in the UK and will arrive in the U.S. digitally on October 14. A CD version will be released on November 4 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Horns directed by Aja is based on the best-selling book by Joe Hill and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Max Minghella, Heather Graham, David Morse, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner, Kathleen Quinlan and James Remar. The movie follows a small-town guy who, after being blamed for the death of his longtime girlfriend, awakens one morning to find a pair of horns growing from his head.
