‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the first soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Nami Melumad (Thor: Love and Thunder, Star Trek: Prodigy, An American Pickle,The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, Absentia). Also included are the main title and end credit themes written by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Fargo, Legion). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, April 28 by Lakeshore Records (click here to stream/download). Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is the Episode One EP featuring five songs from the first episode, including the Grease Is the Word cover and the original tracks Different This Year, Good Girl Act and New Cool (co-written by the project’s executive music producer Justin Tranter), as well as the Episode Two EP featuring the original songs Girl Gang, I Want More and World Without Boys. Dominik Scherrer Scoring Paramount+’s ‘No Escape’
Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, The Tourist, Primeval, Ripper Street, The Serpent, The Widow, Baptiste) has been hired to score the upcoming British Paramount+ original series No Escape. The show is based on Lucy Clarke’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Abigail Lawrie, Rhianne Barreto, Jay Ryan, Sean Keenan, Colette Dalal Tchantcho, Narayan David Hecter, Elmo Anton Stratz, Susie Porter, Josh McConville and Jake Macapagal. The drama follows two best friends who are on the run from their lives in the UK and find refuge on a romantic yacht, The Blue, crewed by a group of enigmatic people sailing through South East Asia.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the Norwegian limited series War Sailor, a new version of last year’s feature of the same title, written and directed by Gunnar Vikene and starring Kristoffer Joner, Pål Sverre Hagen and Ine Marie Wilmann. The show’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Hotel Mumbai, Adrift, The Old Guard). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last December.
