Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, White House Plumbers, Heels, The Kominsky Method, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Franchise, CSI: Miami, Just Friends) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original film A Merry Little Ex-Mas. The movie is directed by Steve Carr (Daddy Day Care, Paul Blart: Mall Cop) and stars Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, Melissa Joan Hart, Jameela Jamil and Pierson Fode. The romantic comedy revolves around a recently divorced woman who is determined to pull off one last perfect family holiday before selling her beloved home, but her holiday dream spirals into chaos when her ex-husband shows up with his younger, picture-perfect new girlfriend.
Ramin Djawadi Scoring Netflix’s ‘Death by Lightning’
Ramin Djawadi (Westworld, Iron Man, Eternals, Pacific Rim, Uncharted, Clash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time) has provided the original score for the upcoming Netflix limited series Death by Lightning. The show is created by Mike Makowsky (Bad Education, I Think We’re Alone Now) based on Candice Millard’s 2011 novel Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President, and stars Michael Shannon, Matthew Macfadyen, Nick Offerman, Bradley Whitford, Shea Whigham and Betty Gilpin. The 4-part historical drama tells the story of James Garfield, who rose from obscurity to become America’s 20th President — and Charles Guiteau, the man who assassinated him.
‘Splinter Cell: Deathwatch’ Soundtrack Album Details
Ubisoft Music will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Black Rabbit, Enemy, Speak No Evil, The Gift, Boy Erased, The Staircase, Tulsa King, Tokyo Vice) and Chase Deso (Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is developed by Derek Kolstad based on the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell espionage video game franchise and features the voices of Liev Schreiber, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Janet Varney, Joel Oulette, Helen Hong, Kiff VandenHeuvel, Aleks Le, Kari Wahlgren, Bella Dayne and Navid Negahban. The Ubisoft Film & Television directed by Guillaume Dousse and animated by Sun Creature and Fost follows legendary agent Sam Fisher as he is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks out his help.
