Lionsgate Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO Max original series Love Life. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, The Good Doctor) and Mike Tuccillo (Ramy, Shot in the Dark). Also included is Arthur Russell’s song This Is How We Walk on the Moon. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 27 and will be available to stream/download here. Love Life is created by Sam Boyd (In a Relationship) and stars Anna Kendrick, Zoë Chao, Sasha Compere, Peter Vack and Lesley Manville. The anthology comedy series executive produced by Paul Feig follows a different protagonist’s quest for love each season, with each half-hour episode telling the story of one of their relationships.

Premiering tomorrow, May 25, is the National Geographic limited series Barkskins created by Elwood Reid and starring David Thewlis, Marcia Gay Harden, Aneurin Barnard, James Bloor, Christian Cooke, David Wilmot, Thomas M. Wright, Tallulah Haddon, Kaniehtiio Horn, Lily Sullivan and Zahn McClarnon. The show’s original music is composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The First). Also premiering tomorrow is the History docu-series Grant directed by Malcolm Venville and executive produced by Ron Chernow, Jennifer Davisson and Leonardo DiCaprio. Jacob Shea (Planet Earth II, Seven Worlds One Planet, Blue Planet II) has composed the show’s original music, which is produced by Russell Emanuel for Bleeding Fingers Music. The 3-parter examines Grant’s life story using his perspective and experiences to explore a turbulent time in history: the Civil War and Reconstruction. Drawing Number One has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Shot in the Dark. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Good Doctor, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, Atypical) and Mike Tuccillo. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Shot in the Dark is directed by Dustin Nakao-Haider and tells the story of Chicago’s Orr Academy Basketball team. Dwyane Wade and Chance The Rapper serve as executive producers on the project.
